Hello, world. This blog is about software engineering for machine learning practitioners.
In my experience, there’s a ton of good free content about software engineering and about machine learning, but there’s a gap at the intersection of these two disciplines. My goal is to fill a small part of this machine learning engineering gap by writing down some recipes and thoughts about best practices.
While I get excited about ML research, my focus will be on algorithms that are well-understood. Additionally, I will bias towards supervised vision models because that’s what I’m the most familiar with. You can see a bit about my background on LinkedIn.
My plan for exploring new topics in ML engineering is to build open source ML pipelines. That work is just getting started and you can check it out on GitHub.
